Request For Qualifications - Engineering Services: EDA Funding For Wastewater Treatment Plant

The City of Bandera is requesting federal assistance from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) for engineering design, land acquisition, and permitting for the eventual construction of a new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The new plant will be located in Bandera County, Texas in the vicinity of the existing plant at 548 Hwy 16 S Bandera, TX 78003 but constructed completely out of the floodplain. Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), the City is assessing the potential of the proposed project to affect the environment and/or historic properties.

The project includes the construction of a WWTP with a capacity of 0.277 million gallons per day (MGD), and a public roadway providing access to the facility.
