Marshal's Office Citizen Complaint Form

The Bandera Marshal's Office takes all citizens' complaints very seriously. We strive to provide fair, firm, and professional services to our citizens and visitors. We realize that sometimes we do make mistakes or fall short of our goals. Thank you for taking the time to bring any issue to our attention so we may address it promptly.

HOW TO SUBMIT A COMPLAINT

If you wish to make a complaint about the action of a Deputy Marshal or any other aspect of the Bandera Marshal's Office operations, please do the following:

  1. Contact any supervisor within the Marshal's Office and file your complaint in writing; or

  2. Write your complaint and mail to the the City of Bandera Marshal's Office at P.O. Box 2279, Bandera, Texas 78003. Please ensure to swear to and sign your complaint in the presence of a Notary prior to mailing your complaint; or

  3. Come to the City of Bandera Marshal's Office and notify any employee that you want to make a complaint. The City employee will notify a supervisor and they will contact you.

  • A supervisor within the Marshal's Office can assist you in filling out the Report of Complaint Against Marshal's Office Personnel form. This form asks you to identify yourself and give specific details about your complaint. Please swear to and sign your complaint in the presence of a Notary.
  • Your complaint will then be investigated. You may be contacted and asked additional questions about your complaint.
  • If it is going to take a long time to investigate your complaint, you will receive a letter telling you approximately when to expect a reply.
  • Upon completion of the investigation, the supervisory officer will write you a letter detailing the results of the investigation and any action taken to rectify the situation.
