Proof of current rabies vaccination must be provided and the following fees must be paid before the animal can be released:

Impoundment fee $40 per day (waived if picked up by 5 p.m. the first day)

Overnight fee $25 per night

Registration fee $25

**If not picked up by 5 p.m., Dec 16, 2025, the dog becomes the property of the City of Bandera and may be placed for adoption.**
