- Funding source: Wholly funded by DWSRF from the EPA and TWDB.
- Description of project: The TWDB 62793 Project included the planning, environmental, design, and construction of a new 100,000-gallon elevated storage tank, new booster pump station, and a new chlorination system at the Mulberry Water Plant Facility. The project also included system wide SCADA improvements and new pressure reducing valves to improve connection and system pressure stability.
- Water quality benefits: Improved performance and updated the water chlorination system at the Mulberry Water Treatment Facility, improved system wide monitoring of the water levels at each facility, and improved connection and pressure management between the high- and low-pressure planes.
