The City of Bandera will receive bids for Indian Waters Booster Pump Station Improvements Project TxCDBG Contract No. CDV21-0395 until 2:00 pm on June 26, 2025, at City of Bandera City Hall at 511 Main Street, Bandera Texas 78003. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 pm on June 26, 2025, City of Bandera City Hall at 511 Main Street, Bandera Texas 78003.

Bids are invited to furnish and install two new booster pumps at the City of Bandera Indian Waters Booster Pump Station. The works includes the necessary piping, valves, electrical upgrades, and foundations as required for the operation of the new booster pumps and motors.

Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications are free and only available at CIVCAST at www.civcastusa.com. Sets of hard copies of the bid documents will not be sold. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting held at the City of Bandera City Hall, 511 Main Street, Bandera, TX 78003 on June 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.

A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Bandera or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond.

Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. The City is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The City strives to attain goals for compliance with Federal Section 3 regulations by increasing opportunities for employment and contracting with Section 3 residents and businesses where feasible.

The City of Bandera reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Bandera for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder’s qualifications prior to the contract award.

Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and Section 3 Businesses are encouraged to submit bids.
