Temporary Banner - Inflatable - Feather Sign Application

Per §3.07.012 the following restrictions apply to these temporary types of signs. All must be kept in good repair throughout the time of their display.

         Banner:

  • No more than one banner may be displayed at any one time at an establishment.
  • Banners may not exceed eighteen (18) square feet in area.
  • Banners may not be displayed for more than fourteen (14) days in succession and must be removed no more than three (3) days following any event to which they relate. Such banners may not be placed on any site more than five (5) times within a twelve (12) month period

    On-premises banners that announce the location or relocation of newly located or relocated businesses:

  •  The banner may be exhibited during a period of no more than forty-five (45) days commencing at the time that the temporary banner permit is issued. Such banners may not exceed eighteen (18) square feet in area
  • Banners for commercial purposes may not face a residential area

 

          Inflatable Sign (aka wavy-man sign):

  • Business-related inflatable signs with a volume no greater than twenty-seven (27) cubic feet
  • may not be displayed for more than fourteen (14) days in succession and must be removed no more than three (3) days following any event to which they relate.
  • Such signs may not be placed on any site more than two (2) times within a twelve (12) month period.

 

         Sail/Teardrop/Feather/Bow Sign:

  • Shall be no more than 8’ tall and a maximum of 24sf.; and
  • Shall not be displayed for more than ten (10) days in succession and must be removed no more than three (3) days following any event to which they relate.
  • Such signs may not be placed on any site more than five (5) times within a twelve (12) month period.
